Terms and Conditions: The Thermal Advantage Academy Contrast Therapy Instructor Training
1. Course fee
The full course fee is £2,400. If you pay your balance by the early bird deadline, the reduced fee is £2,200.
2. Deposit and booking
A £1,000 deposit secures your place.
Your place is confirmed once we receive the deposit in cleared funds.
Places are limited and allocated in order of deposit received.
3. Your 14-day cancellation right
You may cancel within 14 days of paying your deposit and receive a full refund.
Your deposit becomes non-refundable when either of these happens first:
- 14 days have passed since you paid your deposit, or
- you begin the online course within 14 days of paying your deposit.
You begin the online course when you log in, confirm you are ready to start, and watch the Introduction video.
By doing this, you are asking us to begin your course straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel.
The online course materials will be available from December 2026.
4. Balance payment
We will send your balance invoice 10 weeks before your in-person training date.
Early bird balance: £1,200 if paid no later than 8 weeks before your in-person training date.
Standard balance: £1,400 if paid within 8 weeks of your in-person training date, and no later than 4 weeks before it.
If we have not received your balance by the final deadline, we may offer your place to another trainee.
5. Refunds of the balance
Balance payments are non-refundable, except in genuine extenuating circumstances, which we will consider case by case.
6. If you can't attend your in-person training
If something comes up and you can't attend your booked in-person training, please let us know as soon as possible.
We will do our best to transfer you to a future in-person date, subject to availability, and all payments you have made will be carried over.
7. If we need to reschedule
If we need to reschedule the in-person training because of extenuating circumstances, we will let you know as soon as possible.
We will make every effort to choose a new date that suits all trainees, and all payments you have made will be carried over.
If you are unable to attend any alternative date we offer within 18 months of your original training date, we will refund your balance payment.
We may occasionally change guest speakers or programme content, while keeping to the course learning outcomes.
8. Course completion and certification
To receive your certification as a Contrast Therapy Instructor, you must:
- complete the online learning and assessments,
- attend and complete the in-person training, and
- hold a valid Emergency First Aid qualification.
We strongly recommend completing your Emergency First Aid course before you attend your in-person training.
Please send us a copy of your certificate once you have it.
The cost of the first aid course is not included in your course fee.
9. Health and fitness to participate
You agree to complete our health questionnaire before the in-person training and to tell us about any medical conditions relevant to heat and cold exposure.
You take part in practical sessions at your own discretion and should follow the guidance of the facilitators.
10. Course materials and intellectual property
All course learning materials remain the intellectual property of Thermal Advantage Academy Ltd.
They are licensed for your personal learning only and may not be copied, shared, recorded or resold.
On completion of certification, Instructors will receive some marketing materials to use in the form of logos and Canva marketing slides.
11. Agreement
By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
